Thank you Priapus

NewForeskin is delighted to bring you photos of the incredible restoration of a man called Priapus. His results are outstanding and are living proof of what can be achieved. I'd like to thank Priapus for sharing his photos, his insights and his wonderful sense of humour with us.

Priapus

"I live in the U.K. and was circumcised at birth. I started restoring in November 1995 when I retired, and have been stretching almost every day and night since. Now everyone thinks I have a normal foreskin.

"For the past year I have been modelling nude for several life drawing classes. I am a naturist, and find it hard to believe that I was ever circumcised. I am also a member of Norm U.K.

"To anyone just starting I would say that it is like a long journey with the prize of a wonderful foreskin at the end!

"Keep at it and don't give up!"

"I was in Pompeii, Italy 25 yrs ago, and saw this pic on a wall. The guide had moved all the women and girls away before uncovering it. For men & boys viewing only! It's the fertility god Priapus, who uses a basket of fruit to weigh his penis".

Priapus' Restoration Methods

[Priapus' comments on the photo to the left]
"This shows the 35 mm film canister I use every night, it's 34 mm in diameter. My girlfriend says, "I hope you haven't got that thing on again". I usually have, so it makes a good contraceptive!".

[Priapus' comments on the photo to the right]
"This B&W was taken 1997. The PUD weighs 17.75 ounces, has a diameter across top is 38 mm and is made by a man in Wales. I'm so used to it I don't know I'm wearing it most of the time! I have to be careful climbing a ladder as it can be very painful if my dick swings into one of the steps!".

Thoughts of the Master...

Skin texture

Priapus' comments about these two photos: "These are of my knob and show how smooth my skin is now - not weather-beaten!".

NF agrees. One of the benefits of restoration is increased sensitivity of the glans, which results in the ability to gain heightened sexual pleasure. Men whose glans are permanently exposed, for example circumcised men and uncircumcised men with low CI foreskins, are exposed to abrasion and drying. In response the skin on the glans (medically speaking it's actually covered in a mucosa, not skin) thickens and it is the thickness that reduces the sensitivity and ability to sense pleasure. Frenulum

Priapus has his frenulum intact [see pic above right]. He says: "That was not cut off. Some of my friends lost theirs when they were circumcised".

NF says: Some Doctors remove the frenulum during circumcision and some leave them. The frenulum is capable of feeling intense pleasure so men with them intact should be grateful for that small mercy! The frenulum sometimes needs to be accommodated inside the restorer during restoration - especially as the restoration advances. For a discussion on this go to Advanced Issues.

Tight fitting

Priapus says: "This photo was taken in 2000 [right] and shows how slack my foreskin was at this stage. I never thought that it would eventually tighten around my knob as it does now [bottom right]. I thought I would have to have the tip reduced somehow, but a doctor friend said that would be difficult. Also after the trouble I had when that skin tag was cut off (see Priapus' Pre-Restoration Operation below), I would not have been keen to let anyone near my dick ever again with a knife. After all, it was a knife that chopped off my foreskin initially!"

"I can remember always having to pull the end of my foreskin down (through the pocket of my trousers!) when walking around shops, especially if I bent down to look at something. Never happens now of course."

NF is very interested. Many NewForeskin members raise this issue in the Members' Forum or directly to Paul in emails. It's a concern we all share that we want our new foreskins to naturally taper at the end and hug our glans. We want to have a natural looking foreskin when we have completed our restorations. One precaution we can take is to avoid stretching our foreskins radially when restoring. Priapus was concerned when he reached CI-7 that his foreskin was always going to gape open at the end, but found that this was only a phase and as he progressed his foreskin naturally started to hugs his glans. His fears of an unnatural looking restoration are allayed.

Lifestyle

Priapus says, "I am a naturist. I always spend about 6 months at Cap d'Agde in the south of France every year. Many of my friends are circumcised. I feel as though I should tell them about my foreskin. Many others who are intact have shorter foreskins than I now have. Some of them I've known for fifteen or more years and they knew me before I had a foreskin. They may be wondering?? Although it's very nice to be without clothes (sometimes I go for two months, night and day, without putting anything on). I even call at the petrol station and fill the car up naked! I also do lots of cycling. My foreskin never comes off my knob now, however fast I'm going".

Private and not so private moments...

"The biggest change for the better is when I am inside my girlfriend, feeling my knob sliding in and out of my foreskin. Also having a wank is mind blowing now. My latest party trick is being able to hold my foreskin between my teeth (no hands!) It's even possible to spread it over my nose. Don't know what I'll try next! You certainly can have fun with a foreskin." NF says nothing. Absolutely nothing :-)

I've got more balls than you...

Penile skin zones

Priapus says, "These 4 pix, taken in 1997, show progress after two years and how skin at the tip of my foreskin can move down my shaft."

NF says: Very interesting. Readers should check out the penile skin page for a discussion on penile skin zones of intact men.

Priapus' Pre-Restoration Operation...

Priapus' circumcision had been very uneven. He considered that his restoration would proceed more easily if his foreskin was even. Pic 1 shows the skin tag he had surgically removed.

Unfortunately the procedure left him with bad scarring and a very rough texture. Pic 2 shows his stitches. Pics 3 and 4 show how rough the surgical procedure left his foreskin.

To correct the damage of the first procedure, a couple of months later he had a second procedure. It successfully removed the rough area of scarring.

He says he was very disappointed to have had two procedures, both involving the removal of sections of foreskin!

Priapus reports that after the second operation his shaft skin was completely smooth again. However he warns people to beware before consenting to any surgery as there 's always a risk of things going wrong, as they did in his case.
